The Freeform SB is designed specifically for Arabians and other short-backed horses although they are equally suitable for all horses. The shorter 20" saddle base and slightly narrower panels, particularly suited to short-backed horses, keeps the back edge of the saddle off the kidney area and the more tender loin area of the horse. The Freeform SB model has a knee roll and an optional rear thigh block, especially useful when doing steep hill work. The thigh block helps you keep your leg in place when traversing steep climbs but does not interfere with your stirrup position or your body in any way while on the flat. The Freeform SB combines the look of a conventional saddle with the lightness and flexibility of being treeless. This is an extremely versatile saddle suitable for all riding disciplines. Foam injection technology makes the Freeform suitable for many different horse shapes and the flexibility of the Freeform minimizes interference with the horse's natural gaits and allows full freedom of movement without the encumbrance of a rigid tree. The incorporation of "flexi-front" technology into the front of the seat aids in wither clearance and adjusts automatically with both the movement and shape of the horse. For the rider it provides full contact with the horse's motion, giving more "feel" than is achieved with a traditional treed saddle. Freeform saddles are made in two parts: Saddle Base and Detachable Seat for a combined weight of only 7.5 pounds. Girth Straps The girth straps on the Freeform SB Endurance are made from leather faced coated nylon. The girth straps are stitched on a "Y" system to help make the saddle more secure and spread the pressure of the rider over the whole of the saddle. This design also ensures that the stirrup and girthing arrangement do not attach at the same point, thereby preventing pressure from radiating from one point on the horse's back. The girth straps on the Freeform SB Endurance are English style billets that accept an English dressage girth.
	Flexi-front The Freeform SB Endurance’s detachable seat has a high tensile aluminium bar incorporated into the front of the seat to aid in wither clearance. This bar is very lightweight but is incredibly flexible. It will automatically adjust both with the movement and shape of your horse. Therefore, the Freeform SB Endurance will act as a totally tree free saddle as it will be flexible throughout its entirety, but it will not totally collapse in the pommel arch through use. When transferring your saddle from a very wide bodied horse to a narrow horse, just remove the detachable seat, gently squeeze the pommel arch together and then reaffix the seat to your saddle base. The pommel will automatically adjust to the shape of the horse.	Calf Brown
