These boots are super comfortable. They look awesome and are made in the USA.

Boots are a lot like women. The good-looking ones tend to be hard on you, and the nice ones are usually homely. Not being sexist - I'm sure women feel the same way about men. Anyway, in my quest for footwear that's comfortable and looks good, I've bought dozens of pairs - including handmade ones from top shoemakers. Most were disappointing, some were okay, none were even close to perfect. \n\nAs an amateur powerlifter over six feet and weighing over 300 pounds, the average shoe or boot just doesn't make the grade for me. What most shoe manufacturers don't seem to realise is that if you want to make a shoe for bigger men, you can't just make it wider and longer - the sole needs to get thicker as well for better cushioning, and needs to provide better support along the entire outside length of the foot. Most shoes/boots claiming to provide "excellent support" absolutely fail to do what they claim, and leave your body weight resting on your heels and toes. Not only is this uncomfortable, but it will cause you joint problems in the long term.\n\nI thought I had reasonably comfortable shoes before, but it was only after I tried on these boots that I realised that had no idea, until that moment, what comfort was. After getting used to these boots, the shoes that I used to think were comfortable now seem ill-fitting, and the insides feel like they're lined with burlap. The Chippewa 25250 holds your feet snugly with zero slippage; the lining, sole, and insole combine to provide the softest-feeling footwear I've ever worn; and the support extends evenly to every point your foot touches the insole. I can walk around in these boots all day without getting fatigued. \n\nAs if that weren't enough, the boots are decidedly stylish, with large, unbroken pieces of leather beautifully formed. When standing, with trousers covering the upper half of the boot, these can easily pass for business casual shoes, especially if you polish them a bit. I wear them every day and all my other shoes and boots now sit there gathering dust. \n\nDo yourself a favor, buy these boots. You won't regret it - what you will regret is not having come across them sooner.
