I've been wearing Chippewa's for the past 9 years. Working in masonry, hardly anything I wear lasts very long. Concrete and stone work their way into every fabric or material, wearing them down and drying them out. These boots last the best of any boots I've worn, and with regular oiling I'll get anywhere from a year to a year and half out of them. Other brands I'd only get 6 months out of them before they'd got holes in the leather. The uppers even last long enough that I need to get them resoled at least once in that time period. And they're hand made in America. Who can argue with that?
