I discovered the OR Frostline hat living in Minnesota and has been my goTo deepWinter hat for 14yrs now— this is my 3rd one. It is quite warm, breathable, compact, and can be configured in a few ways. The pullOut face cover is essential for blocking strong winds and retaining the heat from exhale.
